Printable 2023 Liturgical Calendar

Although the feasts, fasts, and seasons of the Liturgical calendar stay the same each year, the date on which many of these observances begin (or end) changes. This is because many of the feasts are moveable.

Most notably, the date of Easter changes each year. It’s the first Sunday after the Jewish Passover which is to say, the first Sunday after the first full moon occurring on or after the vernal (Spring) equinox. The date of Easter determines the start of Lent as well as the date of Pentecost and a number of other smaller observances.

If you don’t feel like keeping track of all these things - I have a cheat sheet for you! Here’s a printable of the most notable dates on the Liturgical calendar in 2023. It is by no means comprehensive (I’ve left off all but a few of the Saint’s feasts, for instance), but it’s a good place to start!
